Exploring the Mind

The mind is one of the most amazing centers of all your being. it can be your best friend or your worst enemy. The mind is the computer, the center of memory recording, the translator of our body signals, emotions, stimuli, experiences. The center of great ideas and imagination, that can create a magical forest with endless possibilities or the deepest darkness of woods that can threaten you and put you in danger running for your life. As your nourish your body with amazing food and movement, your heart with love, you nourish your mind with the programing you give to it.

Every single day the mind is bombarded with data, some healthy and some full of junk. Knowing your thoughts patterns and how to move around them, be with them and interpret them is the key to either be friends or enemies with the mind.

your thoughts are like waves in the ocean, constantly moving. Sometimes soft, small, comforting and soothing. sometimes a big storm waves, strong, tall and able to toss and roll you all over the place. How you approach to ride the waves? observing them, analyzing them, over thinking, ignoring them, numbing, letting them overwhelm you and take control?

I invite you to find a place where you feel safe and close your eyes. Breath. Find a place of stillness and sit with the mind. Observe how the waves come and go. No judgement, no analyzing, no trying to hold them or stop their flow. Just observe. When you need to grab something to hold on to, anchor into your breath. There's no right or wrong here you are and external observer.

Try to be in this space for 5 minutes. After that take out a piece of paper or a journal and without thinking write all that comes up from this experience. Learn from yourself, how to understand, accept and love all of the beautiful pieces of you.

Gently, Slowly and overtime you will become friends with your body, mind, heart and soul.
